Black History Month/ Rockwood Elementary

Rockwood Elementary School had a program for the kids that told them about Black History Mouth and why it was important. I had the privilege of singing with their choir. It was fun meeting all of the wonderful kids.

Princess and the Frog(:

I was so excited to see the FIRST Black Disney Princess. Nikki Ajeh and I took my two cousins to see Princess and the Frog I had a wonderful time. It is one of my favorite movies!

MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY!

January 18th was a very busy and important day. The breakfast, bell ringing, and parade was a amazing experience I met a lot of important people in Oklahoma. Martin Luther King Jr. was a big influence to not only me but many people around the world and it was a great honor to be apart of his national day.

MOL Concert/Youth Conference


In December I had my first chance to implement my platform... Keeping Kids Confident in Spite of Learning Disabilities. I set up a table at a church called The Cube, there were a lot of children and MOL preformed at the end of the event. It was very cool...

Women Empowerment Youth Conference.

On November 14th, I attended the Women Empowerment Conference. This event was put together by Carlisha Williams, Miss Black Oklahoma USA 2007. I had an amazing time, it taught young ladies about confidence and self-esteem. It was in Tulsa, Oklahoma and about 150 young women were there. Carlisha is doing GREAT things.
